Do these people even hear the sort of words that they are uttering and do they really believe the things they say?

Religion surely plays a role in people’s lives and can influence their opinion on matters. Pro-life vs pro-choice is one that quickly comes to mind.  However, religion alone cannot be the only thing that a candidate is judged on. There is no mention in this video of the concerns these voters might have on their taxes, health care, the economy, foreign policy and numerous other things that the President of the United Sates has power over. No, they are worried that Obama is an African-American (and not a “first stringer” it seems at that) and with him in power, the Blacks will take over this country. Now that’s xenophobia run a muck there.

Should we pity these people for their narrow mindedness or laugh at their utterly ridiculous claims?

I’m not saying that we should dismiss their opinions and votes as irrelevant, but is it too much to ask for them to actually learn the actual facts that surround this unprecedented election and make an informed choice not guided by prejudice, hate, or fear?
