The Polls on CNN
I frequent CNN.com (yeah, yeah) during the day to get a gist of the daily news and one of the things I’ve noticed is the little poll on the bottom of the page that is usually somehow related to the biggest story on the page.
Curiously, I’ve found that the possible answers either have you agreeing with or going against the gist of the story. I, always, seem to want a third option of “I really could care less” or similar. This was especially true during all the fuss over Anna Nicole Smith.
I would imagine that if you’re going to create a poll, you should also have an option to ridicule the poll itself.

XBOX 360 Spring Update
Microsoft has an announcement of the upcoming Spring update to the XBOX 360. Amongst the plethora of new features, some of the interesting ones are Windows Live Instant Messaging support. You’re probably thinking how you’re going to type out those IMs with the keypad or if you’ll have to create a new shorter-than-SMS style of text’ing?
Fear not, Microsoft is coming with a textpad add-on to the existing controller. This does fall short of the web browser, that shouldn’t be included IMO, that people want.
The other cool feature is listing the achievement name and GS points with the little pop-up, and that’s very cool. Read the rest of this entry »
A Milestone Reached
My daughter had her one month checkup with the doctor and has grown 1 inch in length and to a healthy 8 lbs. 13 oz. in weight.
The doctors and we, needless to say, are very happy with the positive growth Riana has made in just a month. I should up posting some more pictures of her shortly. Once I get Gallery and my web host to behave properly, I’ll start posting some videos of her.

Gallery Down
In the process of trying to get some of the latest Gallery modules installed, it turned out that I had to upgrade the software. Unfortunately, my Wordpress plugin to allow integrated access to the Gallery isn’t working, and I will have to upgrade Wordpress to get things back to normal again.
So please bear with me as I go jump through the necessary hurdles to get things back in shape again..
Update: The gallery has been fixed.
